AP score report

hey guyz…

should i request for additional score reports to all the colleges that i apply to?

some say that it’s only required only after i get accepted to some schools…
and others tell me to just send scores anyway because it’s better than not sending anything and worrying about if i did wrong…

any ideas?

it’s a waste of money…btw

Yes, definitely send your score reports. It's an important part of your application if you've taken any AP classes.

I was told that one wasn't necessary for Brown because my school put my scores on the transcript.

according to my guidence counselor you should just make a copy of the official score that was sent to you in july and send that to the college. It's sufficient enough for the application.

......I was wondering about this too, but I never saw it written anywhere specifically saying that we have to send a copy of the report.....i figured what is on the transcript is sufficient

are AP scores sent along with SAT scores since collegeboard does both?

if not, where do i go to send the AP scores?

No, AP scores are not sent with the SAT scores. But don't waste your money. Just list them in your application.

"Students seeking credit or advanced standing for college-level work completed while in high school will submit Advanced Placement examination results after they have been admitted to Brown. Policies on how much credit will be granted , if any, will vary from one department to the next. Students who receive credit for three or more courses may apply for advanced standing."

it's on page 43 of the guidebook thingy
