I am studying for the AP Environmental Science exam using 5 steps. I got the 2012-13 version (the newest one) and they said that you get 1/4 points taken off if you get an answer wrong. I thought that college board got rid of that already? Is my book wrong?

Yes, it is wrong.

Thanks a lot!

proof that even newest versions will still have that error. ignore it.

You’d think they get it by now… especially since it was announced over a YEAR ago.

I was also surprised when I saw this in one of my 2012-13 AP books (don’t remember which). It’s not as though an easy to spot error like this is hard to correct, and this was announced a long time back.

this is also proof that prep books never change unless theres a change in material for the ap tests. Thus, its okay to get a 2005/06 book. Forgot to add that in
