AP Self-studying over Spring Break

This is my schedule for AP studying during spring break. Any advice/changes? What do you all think? Thanks!

AP Physics C: 7am-10am (read PR, do practice problems/tests)
AP Biology: 10am-1pm (read Cliff's Notes, Barron's, do practice tests)
AP Spanish: 2pm-4pm (watch TV, practice grammar/vocab., do practice questions, practice oral parts)
APUSH: 4pm-7pm (read AMSCO, PR, do practice essays)
AP Comp: 7pm-10pm (do practice essays, read through Cliff's Notes, memorize terms)

wow..im sure you'll be really tired ...

Good luck getting yourself to focus for 7-8 hrs at a time without a break.

lol i want all 5's

AP Lang is so impossible. No matter how many practice tests you do the grade always stays the same.

I really want the AP scholar with Honors award, i have taken all of the following, World history(5), Human Geo(5) and US history (predict a 5), does any one have any advice on what AP test i could self study and pass, i tend to do really well on the social sciences

Unless you are a senior you have to graduation.

Sorry i mean until you graduate why stress all this in one week
Especially if your self studying all of them. oh well its to late.or i think. maybe you can still cancel not sure.
But what i would do is maybe read a 1-3 chapters a day for each subject up until the exam date . and maybe during spring break you can read 2 or 3 or more but don't spend the whole day on it .it will deteriorate your mind.
Then try and make the schedule where you have 2 weeks at least before the exams to take tests and understand what you got wrong.
Then maybe the last few days just read overviews of all the chapters which i think are pretty short.
O and also this only applies if your using prep books which i do not clearly know if you are. But with 5 tests i recommended them: like Barron's ,PR ,Cliff Notes

But colleges wont take notice, do you think i could take Spanish, is it easy?, i know spanish.

I hear its pretty harder then the past exams . but don't be discouraged answer these questions real quick:
Wait are you currently a junior?
And are you using any prep books?

Yes, No (that is why i am asking) im gonna start now.
Did i mention i know spanish fluently.

O sorry missed on the books you choose . things i would change are .
for APUSH get REA prep book- especially for essay's
Amazon.com: AP United States History (REA) - The Best Test Prep for the AP Exam: 7th Edition (Test Preps): J. A. McDuffie, G. W. Piggrem, Steven E. Woodworth, Gregory Feldmeth: Your Store
also for biology focus mainly on cliff notes first.
and for Computer Science A which i have took last year get Barron's for it and the rest of the choices you made sound good. For Spanish i think you are in a good position just read an AP prep book so you know exactly what will be on the test.
Physics which i am not familiar with i would stick to a PR which i hear is good.

has any one taken the AP spanish test, I am a native speaker, will it be easy, all i need is a 3 or 4.

Why are you self-studying so many AP courses? If your high school doesn't offer any and you want to look competitive to adcoms, then I kinda understand why you'd do this.

But if you've already taken a few AP courses in your school, then self-studying all these is just stupid. The average Ivy League applicant has taken 5-6... by the end of senior year!

It will be extremely obvious to adcoms that you are just attempting to pad your resume.

@ The Government: I disagree. Self-studying demonstrates not only dedication and determination, but also the much-desired ability of self-perseverance. Even with 10+ APs after senior year (which I'm aiming for), adcoms won't look at it as an attempt to pad my resume, but rather as an attempt to get ahead in education/life and go beyond what is merely offered to you on a silver plate.

@ TomJones: I'm studying for 5 APs over spring break as well; we are going to be BUSY! (So much for the planned spring break vacation to Cancun--guess I'll put it off till next year :p)

Is that award for 8 AP's and 4's and 5's on all of them worth it by the end of Junior year?

I'm not self studying, I'm just prepping for the AP Exam, because my school is so ***** and the teachers are such ****** that I have to..or else I'd get all 1's..literally

It's good to see you trying to use your time during Spring Break to excel in those AP tests!
