AP Soup for the International Soul.

<p>So the APs,I had some questions about them.
1) Are they REALLY THAT helpful in the admission process? In Good Science oriented Unis?
2) Can they actually fetch higher scholarships?
3) Can They ACTUALLY help SAVE money?
4) Some often say that the APs are a waste of resources for International Students whose schools do not offer them. Are they correct? If not, are they lying in order to prevent diarrhea from chicken curry?
5) How much does it cost( internationally)? Can a poor student( who can afford the SAT I and II s) afford it?
6) How much more difficult is it as compared to something like the SAT II s ? </p>

<p>Thanks. I really appreciate any help in the matter.</p>

<p>1) having a rigorous schedule does help. if the ap system isn’t offered where you’re from, then i think you’d be fine (not 100% sure). as for the test score reports…look into whether your school requires sat 2s.
2) merit scholarships can factor schedule rigor.
3) yea
4) unsure.
5) unsure
6) i imagine it would depend on the test + person. the only sat 2/ap test i directly compared so far was ush. ap <seemed> harder. from people i’ve asked (only 2 at my school), ap’s were harder.</seemed></p>
