AP Spanish question

I'm taking AP spanish (4th year) right now, and from what I've heard NO ONE in my school has passed the AP spanish test, though I go to a good school. We weight grades for AP if you take the AP spanish test. I want to take the test for the weighted grade, but I don't want colleges to see it if I do bad so....

1) Do most college applications require official AP scores, or voluntary unofficial reporting? (I know Stanford does the latter)

2) Has anyone done the whole "withhold" thing to keep a college from seeing an AP score? Is it done per test, per college? ($15- that would get pretty spendy)

3) How much studying is required to get a 3 on the AP Spanish Language test if I'm motivated but have had bad teachers this year and last year? I'm willing to put in some time, I just want to know if it's possible...

i am not sure about 1 and 2

but for #3, the AP test is definitely passable, i got a 4, because i messed up the reading but i know a couple kids in my grade got 5's last year. i guess it depends quite a bit on the teacher (mine prepped us really well), but if you use some practice books and do practices test that should help you out.

i dont know how much that helped, but good luck i`m sure you will do fine!

I took AP Spanish last year. felt unprepared for the xam so I'm taking it this year. I'm in a Spanish for Spanish Speakers Clases Es buenismo!

I'd really like to get a 5 on the AP test. Anybody have any recommendations for prep books which have helped them on the exam?
