AP Spanish

jyankees, where'd you get 73% from? hope that's true.

well at least it sounds like you guys actually spoke in spanish...the girl next to me starting speaking in english because she was THAT desperate. She said, "OH MY GOD. Um.......technology makes things easier....crap that was english. damn. oh well." I died laughing afterwards (i didn't actually hear her during the test, she poked me and had this desperate look on her face, but i ignored her and went into my "zone").

Other than that, fill-ins were ridiculously easy, and i HATE lisping spanish, the essay was kinda boring, but easy to write on, and the reading selections were weird---like that guy who is in love with the sea.....????? wow.

the free response section was hella easy. I think I aced that. The listening was decent, however, the reading passages were difficult (mostly because I had to speed read the last 3 passages lol because of lack of time management).

i got this from another post....
Section 1=90pts
75 questions each a point - .25 for every wrong answer
Section 2=90pts
Direct Response & Drawing=36 pts
Verbs & Essay=54 pts

133-180.......5
114-132.......4
86-113.........3

LOL yes the lisp narration. I went off task and just wondered at it.

hey, FindFishFast, on the back of the test booklet, it said that it was one-third off for every question answered incorrectly...

i remember i made a special note of it because i had always been told that is was .25

the scale for 3s vs 4s vs 5s depends on the test. However, the scale is generally very harsh, and it's difficult to get a 5, even a 4, for those who are non-native speakers. Obviously, it may be different for those who are on CC lol.

findfishfast i thought it was - 1/3 point per each wrong answer since there was only 4 answer choices per question. weird grading techniques but hey i like the curve!

lol, my bad, i just added that part onto... but the numbers were on another post... i stand corrected... i like the numbers too...

THEY GOT RID OF ERROR CORRECTIONS AND FILL-INS!!! ****ed me off!

I think I did well on the writing free-response, both the fill-ins and essay (I used alot of subjunctive, imperfect subjunctive w/ conditional, some future, present perfect, and used large "-ate" verbs from English and made them into "-ar" verbs in Spanish [for example, making tolerATE---> tolerAR], took Latin-English words with -um and -us as the end and made them masculine [taking radiUS and making it radiO, and odiUM into odiO]), took "st" words and made them "est" words [STate--->ESTado]... lots of tricks I know ;) ).

yeah, my AP teacher is an effing moron and all we practiced were error corrections and fill-ins. i hate her so much.

It's over, it's over, it's over, it's over, it's over, it's over.

That fckn GOD.

i second that!:)

omg. that reading was HARRRRRRRD.
i think i did okayy on the other parts tho..
probably got like a 3.....but praying for 4???:(

There was a system in place for the listening at my school last year... teacher told us about it, haha.

Oh, and I couldn't hear, and I had an effing coughing spell on the tape! They wouldn't let me redo it! So stupid.

Felicitaciones a todos los que tuvieron el Examen AP Spanish. Estudiar una lengua diferente es muy dificil. Y ademas de eso, tomar un examen a nivel universitario no es facil tampoco.

Bueno, felicitaciones a todos mis amigos que si estudiaron y hicieron todo lo que pudieron en el examen!

"Congratulations to all of those that took the AP SPANISH exam. Studying a foreign language is very diffficult. Besides that, taking an exam at college level is not easy as well. Well, congrats to all my friends that really did some studying and put all effort on the test!"

-Lol. I was bored so tried to show my spanish skills. (huh?)
(Lol, i lived in a spanish speaking country for about 14 yrs)

Congrats everybody! You guys will get 4, 5s!

you are so lucky!! Which one?

"which one"

?

everybody's been saying about the same thing about the exam and i agree too...here's what i thought

listening was pretty easy until the penelop cruz one (which was not her by the way lol!)

the reading comprehension was alright. the passages had really difficult vocabulary but then when i started answering the questions i was like ohh ok this is alright.

fillins were easy. there were a few difficult ones but overall its easy. u just gotta know ur grammer/conjugations

essay was my favorite. the topic was easy and u could write tons about it.

the photos were alright. i talked the whole time but i couldn't really use lots of advanced structures. hopefully i'll get a 6 or higher

the 5 questions were DUMB!! the guy slurred everything up in some of the sentences. i could only hear a few words like "que piensas" and "tristeza" and "felicidad". i think everyone BSed that crap, especially the last question.

ojala que yo reciba un 4! :) a 5 would be hot though
