AP Spanish

I am putting together the schedule for my senior year. This is what I had initially planned to take:

-AP US History
-AP Calculus BC
-AP Biology (double block)
-AP Physics C (double block)
-AP English Literature
-AP Psychology

Now, I've been researching various colleges and they all seem to want some sort of foreign language. I took Spanish from 8-10th grade, reaching level 4, and I was actually quite good at it. It just didn't fit into my schedule this year, so I didn't take it. I want to take it next year instead of AP US History. Is this a good idea? It will be difficult for me to get a 5 on either test, but I feel that AP Spanish would be more beneficial to me in the college application process. Am I correct in this assumption?

You may want to drop psych for Spanish and self study it.

APUSH and Spanish are great choices so you really can’t go wrong in my opinion, but the more diversity you have the better. I’d go with Spanish.

It’s been a year since I’ve studied Spanish and I’m out of the house/country for about half of the summer. Would it still be a good idea to take Spanish? I’m leaning towards APUSH again…
