Senior year course decision

I got my course list for senior year a few days ago, and I like it alot, but I'm still debating changing it. Currently it is:

AP Lit/Com
Spanish 4 Hon
AP Euro
AP Econ
AP Psych
Pre-Cal
AP Art Hist

The thing is, I really don't like Spanish. I'm just not good at it. I would have had a 4.0 last semester if it wasn't for Spanish. I was thinking of dropping that along with Psych and taking AP Chem, a subject I like that would give me a little more balance. Of course, I've heard colleges like the four years of languages, so I'm hesitant to drop. I've also been told that I should drop Psych to take Physics, since most colleges like to see Physics. But the way I see it, I'm more oriented towards the humanities. If it's any use, here is my junior year course list:

AP Lang/Com
AP World
AP Gov and Pol
AP Enviro
Chemistry Hon
Spanish 3 Hon
Algebra II

Any ideas on what I should do?

are you serious.do not take AP chem in senior. it will ruin it. the amount of work in in AP Chem i had in junior was ridiculous. keep psych. and if you don't like spanish then drop it. i am assuming you have 3 years already. your courseload is pretty heavy.

I took AP Euro as a senior and I started out loving it. By two months till graduation it all went downhill. It's a great class, but my teacher really worked us VERY hard. Did I really want to be holed up studying the Corn Laws and the foreign policy of Catherine the Great when it was approaching May and it was like eighty degrees outside and I was about to GRADUATE from high school? Well, no, not really.

UNLESS you know that you AP Euro teacher takes it a bit easy on his/her students-- as opposed to mine, who started class as soon as possible and didn't stop lecturing for a second until the bell rang and gave us worksheets galore every week and assigned whole chapters to read without a blink--- then, don't doubt taking AP Euro another second. But it just killed me taking such a note/textbook-heavy class SENIOR year. You really start to feel it by April.

If you're really set on AP Euro, don't pay attention to me. But I was really set and excited about AP Euro too, and even I couldn't sustain my enthusiasm for the French Revolution or the reforms of Disraeli when spring hit and I was a senior, for goodness sakes.

haha that's going to be quite the courseload... chem is brutal with work..
chem and senior year might not be the best combination :P

however, if you are motivated.. go for it

Personally i did chem this year (junior) and could not possibly imagine myself doing it senior year

i'm going with a more conservative senior year in terms of ap

The thing is, I love European History, along with Art History, so I know those two are staying. I'm a big history buff.

I plan to go into business, so Econ stays there. Chemistry I like as well.

What I've found is that for me, AP classes are a lot easier than my non AP Classes. I got straight A's in my AP's. They just seemed to come naturally. Better teachers, better kids, I don't know. I'm not worried about the number though.

The main issue is really not over toughness, but really what looks better on the college app: Chem or Psych and four years of Spanish? How much would dropping Spanish hurt me?

I would advice continuing Spanish, that's something that many colleges would look for, a continous 4 years of a foreign language. But if you have to drop it, that's just the way things have to be.
