AP STATISTICS - how was it?

I thought the MC was really easy (finished with 30-40 minutes to spare..), and most of the FR was really straight forward. #6 was somewhat awkward, but I think I did decently.

Yeah, the MC was really easy. There was a few questions (~5) where I was debating between two, but I'm a good guesser. And I'm pretty sure I did extremely well on the FRQ.

And... let's see, if I'm EXTREMELY pessimistic... (30-.2510)1.25=34.275... so I only need a 32 on the FRQ to get a 5, which I would bet that I got. And I'm pretty sure I got a lot more than 30 right on the MC, probably more than 35.

i am so glad i decided to skip the test. whew!

MC=cakewalk.

I'm pretty sure I got a four or a five. Otherwise, cancellation it is.

Eh. I probably got ~5 MC wrong. I might lose a few points on the FRQ. If I used the wrong technique on #4, do I lose full credit, even I I did it correctly?

I thought it was pretty decent.
I omitted some answers in MC (i had no idea at all)
and some on FRQ #6,
but I'm hoping for partial credits to save me

I'm expecting about 4.

........................
I totally bombed #6, because our teacher didn't even cover that material! So our class didn't bother to review that thing even though it's in the Barrons, and it was on one of the review sheet online...........didn't enjoy it much.

and plus it's really hot today, we were forced to sit outside the library b/c ppl took spanish until 12:45.......

i dont quite understand the grading... it seems a little too easy

so
a raw score of 30 on the MC (30x1.25 = 37.5)
FRQ (3,3,3,2,2 = 13x1.875 = 24.375)

6 (2x3.125 = 6.25)

add that up and you get a 68.125 which is a 5
if so, i will be very happy with my chances of getting a 5

Well I did excellent on practice tests, which were easy as people said. For the most part, on this exam, the MC was easy except for a few shaky questions and for me the free response was simple.

andon- I was. Still am...

Pennhunter-
I'm pretty sure make-up peeps get a different test. The reason you're not supposed to talk about it is due to timezone differences of initial test dispension and the fact that MC Q's are reused...but they'd not be dumb enough to reuse for makeup tests...

Someone mentioned something about cancellation of scores if they didnt get a 4 or 5? Does this mean that you can cancel a score AFTER getting your results??? That doesnt seem to be how other college board tests do it.

pennhunter, you wont get the same test. you will be Form B
good luck man.

know your experimental design, inference, probabilty, etc

It wasn't as bad as some of the practice tests. And yeah, there was one problem that was impossible, or almost.

It appeared for one of the FRQ's that you could do it with one of two different t-procedures. I hope that I picked the right way to do it.

I chose 2 sample T because matched pairs did not fit that scenario.

The problem was not impossible.. it was just worded really weirdly (assuming you're thinking of the one I'm thinking of).

oh it did piccolo

Yeah, but 2 sample T fit as well.

i hate stats :( i was ecstatic that MC was easy and then got to the FRQs... and time was an issue for me. and i had no watch and couldn't see the time. so they said "you should be moving on to section II now" when i was halfways through 4.
