Why was question 6 a cakewalk? Why did the rocket problem mess me up? Why did I spent three minutes staring at a graph that told me chemistry kids make the most money? Why did question 1, the super easy one, take ten minutes because I ended up writing an essay instead of a description of the distribution of Robin’s tips? Why was the MC easy? Why did someone’s phone ring for two minutes? who knows, who cares, we’ll find out in july.
Much easier than I expected for me as well. Frqs are always a bit of a toss up though because they are so picky. But I’m pretty sure they curve before the test is administered, so not much to worry about.
You must remember that at many schools, like mine, many seniors take the test who don’t care or didn’t care eaelier in the year enough to truly learn the material. Their bad scores will keep the curve the same.
@DaEmmJay23 so true. You should have seen the amount of people in my room that BS’d a few of the multiple choice and a few of the free responses and then slept for the majority of the test!
I feel like AP stats seems to have a generous curve because the class attracts so many people with senioritis who want to look ambitious… At least in my school haha
same though, a bunch of seniors (and even some lower grades) were sleeping.
I just wanted to know if it was okay to write calculator talk but still point out what each one is. i was running out of time, so i basically just wrote something like normcdf (not that lol) and wrote a one word summary of what each number represented.
The rocket problem got me…other than that the FRQ were fairly straightforward
@swim1128 same! I went back to that one last because it was tripping me up
@swim1128 @Mjain10 rly? That one was pretty solid for me but a few of the multiple choice tripped me up
When your mom brings home Apple-Zuties instead of Choco-Zuties. X_X
@catfanatic6 I felt shaky on that one…mainly because I always got confused on those concepts (lots of mixing up)
What type of test did y’all do for the choco/apple zuties?
@lydthekid are we allowed to say specifics yet?
Lol chisqaured test
Thank goodness! Thanks
Oops!! Is that too specific? I don’t know how to delete a comment
Although I’m worried about how easy that test felt too, remember that AP stats generally attracts seniors who wanna look ambitious to colleges and lower quality students who know they’re not good enough at calc so they do ap stats instead (like me!).
The quality of the average test taker is much lower for AP stats than say for AP chemistry. So although this particular exam was easier than a lot of past ones, I’m sure the vast majority of people taking it didn’t necessarily feel that way.
Yeah like there are plenty of seniors in my class who ditch class every other day and I’m positive they didn’t think very fondly of that test. But for the most part, the class did think it was easier than all of the practice our teacher gave us.
if i didn’t even use a hypothesis test on the choco/apple problem. will i get a ZERO? in other words, what’s the lowest score you can get on one single FRQ? Cuz I saw the score range of 1-4 on the scoring guideline.
@antisocialist you can’t get lower than a 1 on an FRQ, according to my stats teacher.
thank you:)
