Is there a formula sheet included w/ the test???

^Yes. You don't have to memorize all the formulas, but it helps if you already know them by heart.

How easy is the MC?
How hard is it to get say 35 of 40?

If you know your material very well, you should be able to get a 35.

Very well? If I did the 1997 and 2002 released exams, and know about 90% of the material, would the 35 be hard? Or even a 30?

Would 30 of 40 be a good pace for a 5?

30/40 MC would most likely get you a 5, if you do decent on the FR. Of course, the curve is different every year..
But 35/40 imo is pretty up there. Unless you know your stuff REALLY well, they always throw a few tough questions.
I usually get 30/40 on my MC portion (I did about 6 MCs) and I think I know my stuff pretty well (85%-90% of the course)

i think you can use the formula sheet and calculator aon the whole test

would getting 25 or more be a good indication of a 4 or more?

Probably a 4... Just be detailed (assumptions, clarity, naming tests, etc.) on the FR and you'll do fine overall.

how MUCH do you have to go into assumptions...I don't really know any...can you list a list please.

97 test was easy but todays exam was more like the one from 2001
