anyone know the scale for ap stats? =)

Dunno the curve for all the grades, but I think you need to get 68% correct to get a 5 if i correctly recall.

i think generally 68-100 = 5
can u usze a calc for m choice
and are the formulas on m choice as well

This is from a prep book I have...

68-100 = 5
53-67 = 4
40-52 = 3
29-39 = 2
0-28 = 1

cool. thanks! do you know how to.. calculate those scores?

Yes, you can use a calculator for the entire exam. I don't think you're given the formulas for the MC, but I'm not positive.

i guess u dont really need them bc u caqn use ur calc nbut wtvr

To calculate your score:

(# MC correct - (1/4 * # MC wrong)) * 1.25

+

sum of score (out of 4) * 1.8750 for FR questions 1-5

+

score (out of 4) * 3.1250 for FR question 6.

Hopefully that isn't too confusing.

from what i found after searching here for a while, + from TPR prep book,
we are given formula sheet and distribution tables for both parts

where did u find it.
I jsut want to make sure (if we arent given them, ill prob make a program calculating everything just to make sure).

TPR AP Statistics 06-07 edition
"Statistical tables and formulas are provided for you in the exam booklets in both sections" (19)

we might have to sue TPR if we are not given formula sheets lol

could we program all the notes that we've learned in stats into our calculators? personally i think the proctors should clear everyone's calculators before the test

I am glad the proctors are not instructed to do so. B/C program functions are VERY useful to me.
I wouldn't program all, just a few that is kinda cloudy in my head

i wouldnt program either
officially, Im pretty sure u can use calculation programs, but not notes.
So a permitted program would be like one that calculates the number of people required for testing in a certain sample proportion for a given confidence interval +- some odd %

I think the proctors do check the calculators though? Maybe not clear them but at least check them? At least that's what I've heard. Programs like Catalog Help, T-inverse, and goodness of fit program are "legal". I don't think any other ones are...

at least for calc, they don't check calculators
(they might check those for qwerty type calculators,, etc)

Oh well, as long as I have tetris, I'm good...

Good luck on stats everyone! I'm going to need it.

good luck to everybody and me.
