AP Stats, how hard?

How hard is AP Stats?
Ive taken/am about to take all the AP social studies classes my school has to offer but im also thinking about AP stats. im a history/lit person and my math grades in the past havent been that great. (i average 86 - 89 each semester).

im great with analyzing and comprehension stuff, but not that well with computation and little math short cut tricks.

who has taken stats before and what did you think of it?

its really easy if you have a halfway decent teacher... and if you can analyze and comprehend well, you will be fine

I took Stats and it was quite easy. Most of AP Stats is just learning how to use your graphing calculator. You also have to justify a lot of your answers in writing, but it can get repetitive. The last portion of the course is inference and that's where you'll be doing this a lot. And like I said it gets real repetitive because you are basically doing a slightly different variation of the same thing over and over again.
There's not really a lot of math calculations in the course to begin with, and the ones you will see are mainly on probablity. For the first part you will be spending most of your time studying graphs, i.e. histograms, normal curves, regression lines, and interpreting them, so if you can do that you'll be fine. And did I mention they spoon-feed everything to you, as in give you formulas for every section of the test , and around 80% of the test can be done with stat programs in your calculator?

AP stats at my schools so hard!!! But that's because we have an incompetent teacher.

It's generally regarded as one of the easier AP classes. Some even like to compare it to a honors class.

not bad...i was bored as hell, though, because my teacher made it too easy...got a 4 on the exam so it's not that bad at all
