Hi, I just move to the US last year from a non-english speaking country,and I just started being a senior this year. I tested out of ESOL,but it took time for me to understand the math vocab,
I like math and last year I had honors precalc, I had A on both semesters. It's not hard for me to understand the arithmethics, but sometimes I need a little more time to understand the word problems. Based on that and the fact that I'm still getting used to being here, my 1st semester teacher suggested me to take AP AB Calc and maybe another math class.I did better 2nd semester and my 2nd semester teacher only said that BC is a lot of work, so I signed up for AP AB Calc and AP Statistics.
Today was my first day and my statistics teacher said that in statistics you don't do that much arithmethics and I think it's way more wordy. So, I was thinking should I drop Statistics and switch to BC instead?
Also, which one is better for college?

@zalxndr Are you a senior or a junior? (11th or 12th?)

If you need more time to get familiar with the vocabulary used in AP Statistics, then (if you are an 11th grader) I recommend taking it during your 12th grade year; however if you are indeed a 12th grader and you really are struggling with AP Statistics then you should probably take something else. You said that you are also taking AP Calculus AB so I wouldn’t recommend taking AP Calculus BC too. Personally, I think that you can handle AP Statistics if you are willing to do a little extra practice. :)

^ If 11th; Just AP Calc AB you’ll be fine. Take BC Senior, AP Stats should go in the year where its easier.
If 12th; Drop AP Stat and focus on AP Calc BC
