AP Summer Courses

Does Anybody Know a GOOD place to take AP Summer Courses (In NJ) ,
for any of the following

AP Phsycology
AP Calculus AB
AP Physics B

yea...

i dont know how effective a summer course would be, seeing as you would have to wait 9 months to take the AP test in July

well yea i already know that part, but this is more of taking it in summer in preparation for taking it in school (physcis), as for CALC and Phych, i ll just review them every now and then ( i am not taking them in school)

I finally found a thread that's what I was looking for! Same question here...but for Physics and Calc...maybe Psychology too.

yea i know...i NEED something like that ASAP..cause i have to register/sign upp and stuff, and then get my summer schedule going

sign up for some elementary class in college

how, where, when, how much?

I think it would be difficult to find a class in Phsycology or Phych(ology) anywhere.

baah..i ll self study Psch then, but wat abt physics?

All those courses can be self-studied. Though I can only say that I'm doing Psych this summer. (Already did calc AB and no interest in Physcis). I feel I could have easilly have studied calc. Just buy a book and/or DVDs if ur a visual learner like me, from www.teach12.com

hmm..so wait do u think that i could self-study Calc AB .Just by buying a textbook/w.e WITHOUT Even taking Pre-cal (I took ALG II),Assuming that i am good at math

well...i think precal is not very important besides providing you with a decent amount knowledge about trignometry, which is very instrumental in calc, especially in the integral part
btw...for those of you who take calc in junior year, what do you take in senior year, discrete math, linear alg?

I took calculus AB my sophomore year, then calculus BC my junior year, so my senior year I took statistics (AP).

you need to do an extensive pre-cal review before self-studying for AP Calc - i think the other poster didnt give pre-cal enough credit. it provides you with the entire basis for calculus and you learn all about sin, cos, etc i cant imagine learning that while doing AP Calc

ok so what if somebody self studies Trig , THEN Calc (AB) is THAT good?

lol yeah that'll happen
