Hi. I'm taking the APUSH and AB Calculus AP tests in May and I've been wondering some stuff about the questions on the exams. Are AP multiple choice questions aver repeated on AP tests, since they only release the MC every few years? And what about AP prompts? Can those ever be repeated for APUSH? My teacher says anything is possible with prompts but I just wanted some feedback from others. Thank you very much for answering!

you probs want to post this in the ap forums, by the way.

multiple choice questions are sometimes reused, which is why you aren’t allowed to discuss them. essay questions are never reused word-for-word, but there may repeat, as in different aspects of the same era/issue.

good luck on calc too!

^^ I was wondering the same thing. Do they ever repeat M/C from like 2007 or 2010? I know they repeat the 2011 ones but idk if they’ll way waaay back. Do they? Does anybody know?

With APUSH, there are many “themes” that are repeated. Thus, you can count on certain topics being asked on the MC section. If you take a couple of practice tests and pay careful attention to the topics covered, it’s pretty easy to find what the CB likes to repeat. That said, it won’t help you very much to only study those topics that are repeated.

^ Do you know any repeated topics covered on the the exam for AP Euro? Or Art History?

Thank you these are my first AP exams & I feel like barfing, so so nervous DX
