Hey all, I guess I'm a little confused on how AP test scores are sent out. Say I take the AP Physics test and get a 4. Do I choose to send that score to certain colleges or is it automatically visible to colleges at that point? Also, how does scoring poorly on the AP test affect college admission? If I score a 2 on the AP Physics test will a college look down upon me as if I did not learn the curriculum and by extension hurt my chances of acceptance? Thanks for any information.

i think you are allowed to cancel scores, not sure if it might be on your report card though (if it does, you won’t be able to change it I think)

During the AP Exam, when you’re filling out your information on the AP Exam scantron, you can send your AP scores to only one college of your choice for free by writing the designated number of the college. Other colleges - you have to pay.

So your scores are NOT automatically sent, and you have to choose to send them?

Yes. (10char)
