AP tests are easier than you think

...and you can self-study just from Barrons. I took 13 exams this year, and got 4s/5s on all except the ones I didn't really study for. So if you want to do it, go for it.

HOw long did you study?

How many did you self study?

Yeah, if you like saying indoors all day for the rest of your high school life...there's simply no time to do that much reading.

^^^ I agree, I think its awsome to take AP classes but thats over doing it. Its good to have a balanced lifestyle.

yay i will do European history and music theory then (MT strikes fear into my heart though)

If you are going to take a lot of exams i would advise doing it soph and junior year. After senior year most of the time its useless, there are exceptions though.

I think whats more impressive is seeing who can take the most exams for the least amount of money. I took 14 and paid 164 dollars total. Most of you must have had to pay close to 1000 dollars.

Didn't take much time really...you only NEED to schedule enough time to read the Barrons in the last 3 weeks before the exam, so 20 hrs AT VERY MOST for each book. More like 10 on average. My life was hell for probably a month and a half, but it was really worth it to me. Make your own decision, but it definitely didn't require me being a study monk for a year beforehand.

And yeah, that's definitely the most impressive thing to do. Screw taking 13 exams and having to pay $75 each, just see if you can take 10 for 100, you'll have me beat then...no smilies here, but if there were I'd insert one rolling its eyes.

If you look at my reply in the scores thread, that'll say. I self studied: calc bc, world, chem (never actually studied :/), macroeconomics, microeconomics, both physics c, psychology, and probably something else I'm forgetting at the moement.
