Too much writing

The DBQ was insanely simple but I focused more on prior cold war in studying darn you college board!

I’m relieved to say that I actually think I did well on this exam!!
The multiple choice was good. I think I got around 65-70% right on that. I got 78% right on the CB practice test, and I’m guessing you need around 60% right to be in good standing.
The short answer questions were pretty good. The first and last ones were kind of iffy for me. I kind of BSed them, but it’s hard to tell if my answers will work or not. The 2nd and 3rd ones I think I got all the points on.
My DBQ was pretty solid, and I am pretty familiar with the topic, so it was pretty easy for me.
The long essay was kind of iffy also. I’ve never written one, so I’m not really familiar with the rubric. I did the first question of the two options. My argument was fine but I don’t know how my synthesis and historical thinking skill stuff was.
Overall I’m happy with everything. I thought it was going to go a lot worse. Hoping for at least a 4

That test was too easy.

how much was the DBQ worth again? I know FRQ was 15%

That was as easy as they could’ve made it. I don’t know any history and still think j got a 5. If you studied up to 1800 you could’ve gotten the easiest 4 ever. There were too many questions about that period and not enough on civil war, gilded age, world wars.

Period One begins in 1492. Therefore, there should not be any questions before 1492.

Dang you, CollegeBoard.

Don’t think we can talk about questions specifically

I hope I got a 4 or 5. MC was hard, harder than the practice test! DBQ was ok i guess, same with long essay. Short answers were kinda of easy.

@ayraify actually, period one begins in 1491, before Columbus’ arrival… the point of this is so that people know a tiny bit about pre-Columbian America :3

That was the easiest test I’ve ever taken…

Guys, Help! I didn’t read the instructions for the long essay questions (2 and 3) and I did both :-S I put the label for them to grade my 3rd essay concerning the Mexican American War. Will it affect me in any way? Im hoping they just ignore the second essay.

One another note, I think I got around a 4ish. The multiple choice was so easy, easier then the practice exam my teacher gives us, but the dbq kinda got me since I’m not that good with the 1970’s and up. Also, the native american short answer caught me off guard but I managed to write a decent respondce.

How many pages did you guys write for the DBQ? for the long essay?

@cooldude1098 I wrote about four and a half for DBQ and three and a half for long essay.

@tak8773 How the he** did you do both long essays??!?! You can write two essays in the 35 min for FRQs?

damn I only wrote 3 pages for the DBQ and 2 pages for the long essay

I thought MC was easy. I doubt I missed more than a handful. DBQ happened to be the same subject/ question as the last practice DBQ we did in class, so that was nice  I wrote four pages for the DBQ and four for the free response.

If there’s incorrect info on the DBQ will you completely fail? I put an event under the wrong president.

@penngirlpending they gave us the combined dbq and frq time to do them. I actually took about 1 hr and 5 mins on the dbq and the remaining of the time on the frq

The frq were super easy. Literally anything from Roosevelt’s presidency and below I know super well.

I only wrote two pages for each, haha. The SAQ about Muir and Roosevelt was kinda hard. What did you guys say?
