***AP U.S. HISTORY 2015***

@RHSclassof16 The curve is preset based on the performance of college students who have taken the course the AP Exam is intended to test. If high school students bomb the AP but the college students perform fine, there will simply be fewer 5s. Granted, College Board might make slight adjustments if the scores seem way off, but don’t expect the scales to change based on our performance.

@1golfer1 I still stand by that the curve will be tougher because I think it was just an easier test to score high on. I hope its an easy curve but I don’t think it will be.

Now that CB has released the FRQ, I noticed something really weird. Was anyone’s short answer questions #4 about Native Americans pre-1492? Because on the short answers they released, #4 is about industrialism, yet all the other questions are the same. Was there a different version of the test with only one short answer question different?

Can you give me the link for the frq

@azhang40 Do they have the FRQ scoring guidelines released too?

Since they released the frq can someone who did the mex-american war leq tell me what they included in their essay?

End of July/Beginning of August

For mex-american war include:
president polk
california, new mexico, arizonia (mexican cession)
wilmot proviso
brook-sumner incident
south carolina secession
Synthesis: leading to civil war

Have they released the frq and saq for the other forms? Because those aren’t the questions I had.

Oh i included:
Wilmit proviso
Mexican cession
Compromise of 1850
Senate balance turns to free state for 1 time
Intro of popular soveignty
And also ostend manifesto even though it was outside time period
Tougher fugitive slave law

oh ye, i put compromise 1850 too

Will i get points off for not included sumner-brooks and sc secession

@liveloveviolin No, and they never will. Only Form O gets released.

@Tajmahal no they release those after ap scores have been released

@cooldude1098 noo because there is a long list of information you can include

Did anybody else have form O but a different short answer question for #4?

@azhang40 I had the question about pre-1492 NA too! Why didn’t they put that one? The industrialism one is so much easier

@skieurope Why do they only release form O?

@liveloveviolin I assume the reuse the other forms
