I thought the Native American saq was easy I hope it counts .
The most logical option would be to raise the curve to compensate for that question
@Chrysanthemum14 They asked about the geographical effects or something like that on Native Americans PRIOR to 1492 and it gave us a list of about 10 different locations and pick 3 to talk about. The college board curriculum starts after 1492 so that’s why everyone is saying it’s unfair because no one ever learned about that stuff.
I think there are some logical responses you could have put just based on those locations alone.
What were the locations (or at least some of them)?
How much did you guys write for the DBQ and long essay? I was surprised to how little space they gave for SAQ but I guess that means they just wanted you to get straight to the point. I wrote about four or five for the DBQ and maybe three for the LEQ. Honestly have no idea what a perfect score looks like for either one. The highest I’ve ever gotten in class is a six and my teacher never explains the grades. I may have mentioned some incorrect information in the DBQ but nothing major.
I wrote 3.5 pages for the DBQ. 2.5 pages for the LEQ
@letmeseetheworld
Did your class never practice writing SAQs? Because every time my class had to practice SAQs our teacher gave us answer sheets with the same amount of space. And anything written off the lines (or outside the box?) does not count.
@Chrysanthemum14 we practiced them but maybe only like three. Probably none this whole semester. I think we had a bit more space. It was just a lot less than I had imagined.
I only wrote 3 pages for the dbq and 2 for the leq
It’s weird. On CC, everyone thinks the test was easy but most people in my testing room barely stayed awake during the writing period.
CC is the top1% thats y
@Chrysanthemum14 East seaboard,Mexico,California,Midwest etc. Now looking back at it some of them could have been easily written about but once i saw prior to 1492 i blanked out.
I would have done soo good on that saq if that was on my exam…
- I wrote 3.5 for dbq and 2.5 for leq
- Some of the options include: great Bassin, Great Plains, sw USA, present day Mexico, east seaboard, Midwest.
- The reason why they may keep that question is because, to my understanding, the curriculum actually begins in 1491, giving them the opportunity to give a question that asks something "prior to 1492," which is what they did.
Worst question on the test: which movement was most like the anne hutchinson one
I don’t get why they changed the question on the released version though. It’s strange. I hope they don’t throw it out because I actually feel like I nailed that one even though I was sort of winging it.
Also what ended reconstruction
Compromise of 1877
Where did you have a question like that? I didn’t have any question regarding Jackson civil war or slavery
i was kinda vague with my answer on the native american saq but i wrote about the hunting of buffalo creating nomadic societies in the great plans, fishing in california, and the development of (partially)agricultural societies on the eastern seaboard. would i have gotten points for this?
@bodikbodik there was a reconstruction passage and compromise of 1877 wasn’t even a choice.
