Did anyone got form M?

Can we agree that the multiple choice on that form is a lot harder than practice!!

Can we all agree the collegeboard fucked up the APUSH exam this year?

Idk I just hope I get a 4 or a 5. Hopefully a 5.

The good news after looking at the short answer again I think I might have gotten 6 or 7 out of 12 as opposed to the 3 or 4 out of 12 I thought I got.

@azhang40 are you sure that’s the correct website… I didn’t have any of those questions :expressionless:

Does the length matter? I wrote about 3~3.5 page for DBQ, about conservatism between 1960s and 1980s and 2.5~3 for the long essay, about the Mexican War. I think the MCQ was pretty ok, but the short answer questions were pretty ambiguous… What is one difference and similarity between chesapeake and new england? I wrote that they were orginially puritans in England and for difference, I wrote that the new englanders opposed slavery while chesapeake favored it due to the economy base.

@sdh03124 Chesapeake was anglicans, not puritans, they were more there for economic reasons and NE was puritans that escaped for religous reasons

Oh shoot… then I got the similarity wrong… what did you guys write for the similarity and difference?

i wrote indian hostility for similarity and slave plantation economy in chesapeake vs no slave plantations in NE as difference

I HAVE TO GET at least 4 because I missed so much things due to athletics in my class and my teacher promised me to give me an A if I get at least 4… I studied so hard… On the scale of 55/12/7/6 for MCQ, SAQ, DBQ, and LEQ, what scores for each do I need to get a four?
I mean it is really hard to predict the scores, but I would say I got
40~45/55
6~8/12
4~6/7
4~5/6

What will happen if you couldn’t think of an Indian War name so you just decided to make a war up? Will they count it against you?

It is just my opinion on a redesigned test like apush this year , chemistry last year and bio a few years ago(I can’t remember when it was). The same trend on a redesigned test was that people say it was easy, but the percentage of the score of 5 conspicuously DECREASED. I took bio last year and it was easier than i expected, but I got a 4 and about 5% got a 5 (I was pretty confident tho…). Unfortunately the same trend might happen on apush. I think it was pretty easy except for the short answer #4, which was about the geographical and environmental effect on the native American prior to 1490s, but I better not expect to get a 5…

@16elir who would most likely support him

I had form M. Can someone predict my score?
45-50 on MC
9 or 10/12 on SEQ
4 or 5/7 DBQ
3 or 4/6 LEQ

The worst I basically got was a 70%…

For the environment DBQ, I mentioned FDR’s CCC and Teddy Roosevelt with his setting aside land for national parks and such as synthesis. I also said that the environmental concerns in the 50’s and 80’s did very little for public policy and society. I mentioned a court case, Buckley versus Valeo which I said was in 1978 when it was actually 1976, which basically stated that corporations had the same rights as humans and their money could equal speech, and as such donated wildly to political candidates. Because of this, corporations who profit more from polluting then being regulated like corporations such as the EPA would now LEGALLY bribe politicians to not implement environmental regulations, as such Reagan vetoed the water quality act. I also used the first document about big interests wanting to break down the national parks Teddy set aside and FDR maintained for their own personal gain. As for how it didn’t affect them socially, I said that because newspapers would spew nonsense about how environmental regulations were irrational, grassroots interests who wanted to stop big business from polluting such as the santa barbara document were phased into obscurity.

I made sure I mentioned six of the seven documents, and citing the intended purpose of each document. Would this warrant at least a 5/7?

@sdh03124 No length does not matter. I was just curious.

I’m going to stop contemplating on what I got on this exam. It would be nice to get a five and prove my teacher wrong. However, whatever I get I don’t feel any less incapable as a person and it isn’t the end of the world. I disliked this class and I would like to be happy that it’s over with but I have a final exam to take soon. :((

@TheSmartKidd LOL. Yes.

My proctor told us that she would tell us when 40 minutes had passed and we should finish the DBQ and begin work on the leq, but never did. I got really into it and ended up writing 8 pages for the DBQ before realizing that I only had 20 minutes to do the long essay. I think I did an ok job with the leq, but should I file some kind of a report? A bunch of my classmates also had to rush the leq because we were never told when to move on. Should I do something?

For what purpose? You’re almost an adult, and should be able to monitor time remaining.

If you check the released FRQ from College Board, there might have been a mix-up with the SAQ #4. I got the native American one, but there’s an industrialization SAQ for #4.
