***AP U.S. HISTORY 2015***

Im worried ahhh

This was last years.

5: 11.0% 4: 21.3% 3: 20.2% 2: 27.9% 1: 19.6%

I picked mexican american war prompt! ahh

Why are there so many 1s and 2s?!

@glasshours

Probably reasons like
-Apush is such as popular course that so many people who aren’t prepared take the exam
-The exam is a new format, which may have thrown off some people

I really hope I got a 5. History is my absolute favorite class and I’d be embarassed if I got a 4 again like I did on APWH last year. But I’m expecting a 4.

Yeah I want to add my 2 cents. APUSH is like the second most taken exam (used to be THE most taken until recently). Because of that so many people are taking AP US that aren’t at the proper preparedness level. If you think about it, the scores are just slightly lower. Which is a given with a new exam format where there weren’t many sample questions to practice with. So a dip is expected.

On another note… I really hope I made a 5.

I hope I get a 5… did anybody else get native american question for their 4th SAQ

Honestly, Trevor Packer said that they released the most commonly distributed exam. But from what I hear everyone got that question. I am not sure if they are trying to cover something up or not. Maybe that had an effect on scores if they did throw it out also???

I know for my school in GA, that happened, my apush teacher says that if we got a different test from the released, that means ppl with the diff test will get a curve different from the normal, released test.

Did anyone even acknowledge they got that 4th SAQ that was released? Because I only recall people talking about the native american saq.

Yeah that is what I am saying. I don’t know anybody who got that question. (I am trying to refrain from mentioning specifics since you technically can’t discuss it too much in detail.)

given the fact that apush is an extremely popular exam… we ust might be that slight majority that is on CC, took the apush 2015 exam, and had that special SAQ… BE OPTIMISTIC

Half of the people who took the exam this year are failing it. Don’t know if this is good or bad.

Praying for a 5…

@ayraify dont all ap exams basically have half pass and half fail?

… curve. curve. curve. curve.

Yep, well for US. Last year it a 47.7 fail rate. This year it is 49.3. And again remember new exam. In fact the score change looks like the amount of 2 decrease went to the increase in 1s. And then more 3s which is to be expected.

Edit: I will say though for some reason the numbers do look so much worse this year though. Weird.

@2016seniorga That’s not true at all.

I was confident that I would get a 4… But now looking at those numbers I’m going to have to be really lucky to get a 4 lol.

my freshman year (2013), AP world history for a 5 was only 5.7%…I got a 5, so anything is possible!
