AP U.S. History Crash Course (REA)

CCers,

I suffer from PPD (perpetual procrastination disorder).

In all seriousness, the AP U.S. History exam is fast approaching and I have yet to begin any serious studying.

Onto my question: Would purchasing the Krieger's "Crash Course" book be enough? Specifically, could I, without opening my text book/AMSCO (haven't purchased the latter, but people seem to agree they go nicely together) make a 4 or a 5?

I did fine (4) on the Euro exam last year using "Five Steps to a Five", but with other APs, I don't think I have time.

I know you lovely people will help me out :)

I have no advice, just some consolation that I’m in the same boat. D:

Eh…I think you could safely read AMSCO with just a couple days, but in your situation I would use Crash Course. It’s a more condensed version of AMSCO and it covers some topics like Women and African-Americans really well.

Thanks…

Anyone else?

I’m pretty nervous about this (not that it’s anyone’s fault but my own).

I guess if you’re really desperate, you could skip school for a few days to study.

Yeah, get Crash Course and read it a few times. Also take notes on everything, really helps.
