AP U.S. History Self Study Review Book!!!

Ok, so I'm a little desperate here. I'm currently taking IB American History and I signed up for the APUSH exam in hopes of getting college credit since I'm only taking the IB history class as a one-year thing. I've been kind of busy throughout the year and didn't really get time to really sit down and study for the APUSH exam. Now I'm taking the late exam for APUSH next thursday and I am in a desperate need for a good review book to read that will cover just what I need and nothing more.

I bought 5 steps to a 5 a while ago, but never got around to reading it. Now I'm flipping through it after finishing up the AP Psychology exam and realized that it's a pretty big amount of stuff I gotta read by next week. So, I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for any books that I can ready with relative ease within a week and have all the information I need. Or should I just stick the 5 steps to a 5 (I mean, if I HAVE to read all of it in a week, I will...). I'm already familiar with the test format and I took some practice stuff in the 5 steps to a 5 book (which I heard are not very good sample tests) and I know a good portion of the stuff, but definitely not enough to get a good solid 4... And I need at least a 4.

So... Helphelphelp!

REA Crash Course

I’ve heard AMSCO is the best for APUSH.

Crash Course by REA is the best book, considering the amount of time you have left.

amsco is pretty good, but there’s not enough time to get that book. best option now is to go to barnes and nobles or w/e book store, and get REA like everyone said.

just order a set of state quarters and memorize the dates…and make sure u know which presidents are on which dollar bills

most review books have poor practice tests. There is a limit to what can be done. Thats why you have to use more advanced CBT (computer based tests) to figure out where your strengths and weaknesses are.
