AP US gov and politics?

<p>considering the study guides available, is it possible to get a 4 or 5 on the AP exam without taking the AP US gov and politics? Is there any study guide available which covers the material at the comprehensive level neccessary to achieve a 4 or 5? all tips would be appreciated, thanks</p>

<p>I got a 5 and our teacher really didn't teach us all that much...just buy a review book and you should be fine.</p>

<p>iunno about us, but i only bought the review books for european and world history, never bought a textbook. I got 5 on both. I think it is fine, and saves you a lot of time- you only learn what you need for the test</p>
