AP us history grading..

I was wondering what you need to get on the essays and DBQ to get a 5 on AP exam. Do you need to get 9 out of 9? and also what about multiple choice test? what grade do you need to get?

My history teacher (a veteran) was saying that you need about maybe a 60 to 70 percent on the multiple choice to get a 5. Also, you don't need perfect essays to get 5s . If you average over 7 on the 2 essays and DBQ you will be fine

The average essay score is only in the 4 range (out of 9), so if you fall in this range or a little about it, you'll need about 75%+ on the MC. However, if you write well and feel as though you can get six's or so on the essays, then you'll only need a little over 50% to probably get a 5.

Ziggytheman, Have you found this information on ApCentral? because I was trying to look for statistics and everything and couldn't find one. Could you tell me where you got the information? Thanks.
