AP US History Summer Program

Hey everyone,

Thanks to my course load, I won't be able to fit APUSH into my junior year schedule, and I love history so this irritates me. In order to graduate, I have to take US History (any level, but I sincerely want to take AP) at my school. However, if I take APUSH, it will have to be pushed to senior year, but I want to take AP European history senior year... and you can't take AP Euro unless you've taken US History.

SO...

To solve this really annoying problem, I was wondering if there are any summer programs which offer a camp-like setting to take the class for credit over the summer? I already did JSA last summer, and I'll be in India when the JSA Princeton APUSH is in session (mom is making me go) so are there any other programs which will allow me to take APUSH over the summer?

Thanks so much in advance!
(Looking forward to getting some help on this :D)

I know that Carnegie Mellon has a program that will allow you to take AP classes over the summer. Although, I’m not exactly sure if they’ll have APUSH. Aside from that, I think it’s kinda weird that your school requires you to take APUSH before AP Euro.

You can take it online through CTY.
I believe Northwestern CTD has a residential AP US program, but you’ll have to check.

there’s one here.
