@bubblylaugh That’s literally what I think to myself everyday Saturday night.
@tryptophanoverload I’ve been having these thoughts since Thursday aghh
My class hasn’t even gotten to WW2. Apparently we are set to finish WW2 before the AP exam so I need to self study the rest…
same, our class is currently at the 1920s XD, have to read the book myself. At the 70s right now and cramming with Adam Norris on YouTube
Im panicking also! I’m self studying for the exam since I was not able to fit the course in my schedule… AND I JUST GOT TO THE 1920S HOLY CRAP. I’M SO BEHIND.
@neptuna my teacher says that we can expect short answers from Unit 1 or 9
Anyone have any guess at what the DBQ might be? (I know we can’t predict them)
Do you guys know what percent roughly you need on the MC to get a 5?
I wanna know that too. I’m guessing 45/55 would be pretty decent. Based on last year’s curve, to get a 5 needs a 75% of the entire exam including free responses.
The separate MC score does not matter; what matters is the overall score.
Outside of the College Board, nobody knows what last year’s curve was. Based upon past released curves, I’d estimate you’s need about ~62% to get a 5

@skieurope Oh I was just referring to this score calculator that I found. Sorry if it is incorrect. Cuz the score distribution from last year was worse than the past few years so I thought the curve kinda got more harsh.
according to adam norris, short answer should be on effects of revolutionary war and european exploration goals. There are probably several other likely candidates that he mentions in his later videos. Ive only gotten to period 5 review right now so i dont know. I suggest watching his key concept vids
A tutoring organization from my school (TRACE) had a couple of APUSH alumni make review videos.
The first one is on youtube:

Good luck on the test!
Hey, on the quickwrites, you know how the question is split up usually into 3 parts? Are you supposed to indicate which part you’re answering on the quickwrite? In class I always wrote lke A), B), or C) in front of my answers but is that also expected on the exam?
@jackwang0703 use this calculator to find out http://www.apcalculator.com/calculator/ushistory.php
@thefloridavegan That’s exactly what I used and I found out that it required 75% overall to get a 5 last year, which is harder than the unrevised exams.
For starters. the College Board did not release the curve for last year’s exam, so whoever is saying that a 75% was required is just pulling numbers out of his butt. The curve changes every year, but they do not change that dramatically.
Second, aim for a 90% and you’ll be covered.
Ok then that’s actually not bad news. Does anybody know the recent curve for sat II USH test? From what I have learned the curve is pretty harsh, like only at least 82/90 can get you a 800. And it penalizes wrong answers which is really annoying.
Lol we did 60s Cold War today. We have one lecture left…
Is it possible to get a 5 by reading the Princeton review and watching Adam Norris?
