Finally I am taking the APUS history test tomorrow. I am FREAKING OUT. I am afraid I might not do well even though I literally worked my a** off studying for the exam. My greatest fear is with the Essay section. Did you practice the essays on your own when you took the exam? (because I never did..thats why I am freaking out) Is it too late to start practicing when I know the exam is tomorrow??

I wouldn’t spend time actually writing essays. Instead read sample essays that got good scores, so that you know what to and how to write to do well.

Wait what?!? That was like 3 wks ago…

I would say relax, but you–like most people–would probably just scoff it off If you have really studied your butt off, 90%+ you’ll be fine for tomorrow. Trust me, I studied my butt off for some tests and still thought I’m not ready. But when I took the test, turns out to be easy as pie.
For the essays, read some prompts. Know social, political, and economic trends well. Oh and movements too. Good luck! :)

^^ Make up exam.

I know…but in my school we are allowed to take it(maybe a different version) on the 19th… I was surprised also.

thanks… I will ‘try’ to relax. am also watchin video documentary now. thanks again!!

I’m so nervous, I’m taking it tomorrow as well.

I think you will be fine without practicing the essays. I only wrote like 5 throughout the year in my APUSH class and I felt confident about my essays on the exam. As others have said though, it may be a good idea to read over some examples.
