i wrote on FDR and Reagan. I actually said that Reagan had a crappy political career (since he wasted money on "Star WArs" caused a huge deficit and the only good thing he did was lower taxes, and I said that FDR had a great one, mainly bc. of WWII and his influence over congress. i mean, he wouldn't have gotten re-elected if he had done such a bad job.

For the first FRQ i did #3 and did temperance and cult of domesticity.
complete b.s.
for the second I did #5 and did Reagan and Nixon.
For Nixon I did how he extended the Vietnam war instead of just ending it as he promised in his campaign and then Watergate.
For Reagan I did the failure of supply-side economics and how it just made the rich richer and poor poorer and also how he tried to make welfare type programs state sponsored but it totally didnt work.

I was going to do how FDR was good and got lots of legislation through, but then I realized that the date they gave was his second term and the recession and everything. and I didn't know much about it.

i hated the MC...well some of them were easy sleazy..but near the end they were CRAZY! i felt like they didn't test our knowlede of history but rather if you can notice the college board's tricks! especially with those questions that have "EXCEPT" ..i hate those...the DBQ and FQ were ok i guess....i never know how well i do on these things...sigh....

The FRQs were pretty easy, especially the one about TR. Big stick baby XD

Thought the DBQ was cake...worked lots of good details in there.

Essay 2 was bad. Not horrible, but bad. I did Shays' and Whiskey. I knew the general facts about each rebellion, but didn't know dates or how exactly Shays' ended. Luckily, I did use the whole "federal government asserted authority" proof, so I think I'm okay.

Essay 5 was really nice! I used LBJ and Nixon. I basically said how they both started off great and popular following their elections. LBJ showed America's power in Vietnam, Nixon with detente, Ping Pong Diplomacy, using Vietnamization to end the war. But then, I said how both effectively ruined their political careers...LBJ dragged on Vietnam too long and Nixon, obviously, ruined himself with Watergate.

On the whole, I think I may have managed a 5...but that might be wishful thinking. I'll be really pleased with a 4.
