Ap World history

Hi. So for my senior schedule next year, I will be taking 3 APS. Ap calc ab, ap physics c, but I am unsure about taking ap world history. I will work really hard for Good grades in calc and physics, so I feel like if ap world is anything like a push at my school ( which was really difficult) it will be too much. Any advice?
And if it is just like a push, how would a class like ap government or ap psychology compare work wise? Thanks.

AP World History isn’t as hard as it is tedious. So many dynasties and people to remember yet I feel like it was worth taking the class. I think history is interesting so it’s definitely a class where you have to be interested in or just really dedicated to do well. The exam is hard but if you study it shouldn’t be too bad. It’s harder than psychology but easier than apush. All in all I think you should take it and just dedicate yourself to the tedious processes of doing study guides and notes etc. Good luck!

Bump

D took AP world this year. It was a lot of work but not hard. Quite of a few juniors took AP Calc, AP Physics (but B, not C) with AP World and AP Lang without much stress. If you’re not interested in history, the amount of work isn’t worth it and will get in the way of your other classes. But if you like history, it’s a nice break from the Calc and Physics.

Bump… What about ap gov??

World is easier than APUSH but AP us government is a cake walk compared to the either.

You have to remember that the AP curriculum is the same, but each teacher teaches differently and the class may be easy for some, but then the AP test will be hard. For my school AP gov is one of the hardest classes in the school behind AP bio. AP euro is easier than AP world in my school (I am a sophomore and i took AP world this year and I am taking AP euro my junior year). AP world was really hard because my teacher made the tests really hard but because I needed to know everything for the unit tests…the AP test was very easy (i don’t know what I got so i don’t want to jinx it but i might have gotten a 5). Now this is all for my school…my friend who goes to another school has AP bio as one of the easiest AP courses in her school and in mine our valedictorian who’s safety school is Georgetown got a B in the class (and we are a huge high school with a high national ranking) so that just shows you how hard the class is. Really you need to ask around your school. I know my AP euro class is a joke but in other schools it is really hard and in other schools AP world is not even offered.
