AP World History

Somebody please tell me which prep book is the best for this course. No one person has 100% told me to buy a certain one. please help i'd sincerely appreciate it (i've looked all over the forum and the consolidated list but there are splits in the decision?

Thanks.

Buy the Princeton Review prep book. It is very comprehensive and it in itself gave me a 5.

I'm actually really interested in knowing also because I'm taking AP World History and I will be taking the World History SAT2.

Do you think Princeton Review is enough for the AP and SAT2 tests?

not sure really..

whats the best one to write the sat? barrons or princeton review?

hey,

how many ppl go for prep classes for the SAT? Does it really help?

Barrons all the way

I studied for world history on my own, read the review book in two days before the exam -- took the exam and got a 4, for a review book its a great read, then a month later i skimmed the book before the sat II and got a 740

my independent study turned out really well thanks to barrons

I didn't use anything and I got a four. Reading the textbooks were good enough for me I guess.

barrons is really better than PR for APWH? wow

well im not sure how much better barrons is, all i know is barrons is very good, i never to took the class, never had a text book or any materials, i only had this book... at my school we have a loose policy for aps, you can take whichever and prepare however you want, so i challenegd world, so for me i was just casually picking exams, i had no knowledge of world history, but barrons did help me alot

in all honesty, choosing between princeton and barrons probably wont change your grade, if you read and prepared equally from each there wouldnt be a difference.. i just happen to favor barrons because it was a pleasant read, if thats possible?

well what about the practice tests inside etc. and which read would be more comprehensive

wow u read the whole book in two days? How did you memorize it all?

barron's good for extensive stuyding....princeton for last minute studying
