Apartments

so i want to move into the apartments next year. should i start looking now? a friend told me that the people who start looking now are looking to live in the big complexes.

he told me that i should start looking like in june. the for lease signs that go up then will have better deals. he also told me that what ever for lease signs that are up right now are the ones that are available now, and won't be interested in signing a lease that starts in july or something

is this correct?

not true. my apt, midvale plaza, is one of the largest complexes in the westwood area. their lease signs has been up and most leases over here start in september. also big apts are more reliable. like one time i was cooking in my apt. and the kitchen sink started gargling up nasty looking water. there was on-site maintenance and the dude came and fixed before my entire apt got flooded. although the prices might be a little high, but you get a peace of mind.

Speaking from experience, if you haven't started looking for apts yet start looking NOW.
