I'm taking the APES exam this May, but I suck at math. My APES teacher has hardly taught anything math related and when she has tried, she sucks at teaching it. She said even if you get every single math problem wrong, you could still get a 4 or 5. Is this true? I really need a 4 on the APES exam. Can I do it without getting the math problems right on the free response? Thanks!

The math on the exam is simple. Don’t assume that because you “suck” at math, you don’t have the capabilities to get the math questions right on the AP. I honestly believe that if you know your environmental science concepts and you’ve passed Algebra I, you have the ability to get math questions right on the AP.

And even if you don’t - you can most certainly still get a 4 or a 5.
