Apology

I would like to apologize to anyone I have offended or made angry. This website should be fuelled by a common love for a university, not big words. I have been playing a game, using big words to demonstrate that we must always "simplify.. simplify." Big words and long clauses will never do anything for you. To clear things up, I disagree with most things I have said in previous posts and am not crazy. I do not think Cornell is my life blood :)

I agree with towerpumpkin and spartacus. This website should have comments from current students. That is what prospective students want. In fact, I am a current Cornell student and believe that a Cornellian should both spend time relaxing and work hard.

Good luck to everyone applying to Cornell!

Lol. So You ARE a Cornell student. Well I'm glad you aren't some nuthead. Jokes like that trying to annoy people ain't cool, though.

I am sorry if i annoyed you. I wasn't trying to as much as I was trying to prove a point. So many people are obsessed with big words and long sentences. They think that leads to good writing. In one of my posts someone said that they wished they had my verbal skills! Remember that anyone can write long sentences but only a few can make writing clear, concise, and to the point.

elements of style

you do have good taste

thank you very much
