<p>On my "Where am I in the process" page it says that my app fee was waived. Does anyone know what would make them do this?</p>
<p>If you were a pre-college student, it’s included in your $7000 fee.</p>
<p>Also, it’s not uncommon at CMU and other schools to waive fees for underrepresented minorities.</p>
<p>However, how did you submit the application without paying on the common ap? Weird. Did you get a refund?
Doesn’t make sense – if you paid on the common ap, then it really doesn’t matter what it says about the fee on the WhereAMI page.
Or am I missing your ?</p>
<p>Yes, I payed on the common app. And I am not an under represented minority, I am a white male. I am not aware of any refund received besides what it says on the Where Am I page. I am just asking if this has anything to do with my acceptance decision, I applied ED 1.</p>
