QUICK but IMPORTANT question about fee waiver situation

<p>So.. I applied to Northeastern University yesterday.. Common App, and paid $70 fee.</p>

<p>Go home today and got a letter saying they were interested in me. At the bottom I saw a fee waiver thing.. All i had to do was select "fee waiver requested". My parents and I are not very rich, but we paid since this is the future we are talking about.</p>

<p>Paid with credit card, and credit card purchases can definitely be refunded.. But what about thru CommonApp? Tried calling northeastern but i have to try again tomorrow cause they are closed now.</p>

<p>Please let me know if you know by experience, or your thoughts..</p>

<p>Yea, I got the same letter saying how my success “has caught their attention.” And saying as a further reward they would waive my application fee. I’m glad cause I’m applying tomorrow and my parents are in the same financial situation, so I’m happy I got the letter!</p>
