app payment

I'm sending in my app through the common app and I don't know how to pay the fee. Do I send in a check or do I pay it online somewhere?

I don't think that Carleton requires a fee for online applications.

If you're applying online, be it through Common App or Carleton's own app, you don't need to pay the fee.

thanks! i knew that about carleton's own app, but i didn't know that applied to the common app too.

haha i had that exact same question

uh-oh. I sent in the Part I of Carleton's application online, but sent in Part II and the supplementary materials on paper. I thought that if you submit the initial part online, then the fee is waived no matter how you do the rest. See http://www.carleton.edu/admissions/overview/applying/ways.html.

David - A good friend of mine applied to Carleton ED the same way you did and did (Part 1 on-line, part 2 by mail) and got in. As I recall from doing my application, it doesn't matter how you complete part 2. You can just do it for free if you do part 1 on-line.
