Hi I got my results today and found out I was accepted to Brooklyn only and rejected from Baruch yet again. I spent a year at a community college to getting a associated degree with mostly As for concentrated courses that can be transfer over to Baruch. I called them up and found out my GPA is still below their requirement which was mostly due to me failing classes from a previous school and it brought my GPA down. They told me i could write a letter to appeal the decision but what are the chances I would get accepted.

I was denied twice from Baruch, on my second denial I wrote an honest letter of appeal of why I felt I should be accepted and what do I think caused me to be denied and what I could to make sure I do not make that mistake in the future and Baruch (I had low grades my last semester at my prior school.) About a week letter I received an acceptance letter in my email. I sent my letter to the appeal department as well as the dean of the school via mail and email. I don’t know if my letter sent to the dean changed anything, but I was accepted right away after that when I was told that it would take weeks to be processed.

Hey i though i lost all hope but i got a email from the dean 5 days ago that i got admitted.

Hi, I was also denied twice from Baruch. CUNY counts my F’s from commnity college and brings down my GPA even though without that it would meet their requirements. I’m writing a letter of appeal. You both were successful in that process, I would really appreciate it if you could tell me what you wrote them. I really wanna go to Baruch.
Thanks

May I ask where you guys got this appeal letter for the Baruch transfer? I am a third year biomedical engineering student at City College who really messed up his GPA from Fs in an engineering class. I submitted a personal statement, my old SAT scores and high school transcript (I know those aren’t weighed as much for students with over 30 credits).
