Has anyone ever appealed merit for a second time even, after awarded an additional $5000?
What do you expect? How much more do you need? Do you have some additional accomplishment that is very notable?
Maybe this just isn’t an affordable school.
Do you have a job? Are you taking the Direct Loan?
Based on what? Why should they give you more merit? What do your stats do for the school?
Which school is this?
What merit were you first offered?
Then you appealed and got $5k more.
When you appealed, did you agree to enroll if they increased your merit?
If you need to keep asking for money, you can’t afford the school.
Plus, you are going to ask again, you’re pushing your luck and they may decide to pull out of “negotiations”.
Has your family’s financial situation changed? If not, I can’t see a school revisiting your award yet again.

This kid is looking for merit aid which has nothing to do with finances.
The school gave an additional $5000 in merit aid. If that’s not enough, move on.
Most schools have specific guidelines for grades and test scores for merit aid. A 5K increase is a huge amount so I wouldn’t expect them to go higher.
