I have no idea what this thread is about or how it got to be this long but I added my favorite tag of all time

Oh, I do. The professor.

I keep swearing to myself I’m not going to read this thread again, but it’s worse than crack.

Woah, I came back to this after two weeks… and a psychopathic ■■■■■ is on the first page.

OP you lost from the start. You’re a self-entitlted misogynist brat. “It’s unacceptable” “He’ll do it or else” what kind of priviledged jerk are you? Seriously, over an A-?! I get it’s competitive, but I’d give my left nut for a gaurenteed A-… ANY case you would have had would be entirely mitigated by the fact that you’re such an unplesant person to be around.

You appear to be deficient in your understanding of how civility works - and how the “Hierarchy” works. First off, get off your pedestal - that “fat slob who eats too many doughnuts?” He’s farther in his career than you will ever make it. You’re nothing. If he wanted to because of that email he could threaten to have you kicked out of the university for threatening HIM. Savvy? You’d go from being the “attractive 20-something rising college student” to “loser dropout” in the span of a day. I know if I were your professor, I would certainly not want to do any favors for a guy like you.

Professors as a rule can’t discriminate - but they can and DO recognize hard work and “look the other way” while bumping your grade up a few points if you’re borderline and put in the effort. Of course, when you’re a jackass who doesn’t respect your superiors or your collegues, you really can’t expect them to do you any favors.

Seriously - Insane ■■■■■ Logic at work. What a disgrace.

^ soooo late to the game

^Yeah - also, I have to add as the Neuropsych/Humanities major

YOU. -points to OP- PERSON WHO DECIDED TO FLY UNDER THE BANNER OF LIBERAL ARTS. Your slight relation to me via that, disgusts me. I hereby reject you on behalf of the Liberal Arts, the Humanities, the Social Sciences and anything else I can think of. You do not speak for us. You will never again speak for us. We reject thee.

Ironies, ironies

The only other thing I’d have to say would be to Brahmin: Dude, you realize that by insulting this sniveling little dirtball the way you are you’re also making blanket attacks on English/Lib Arts/Humanities/Etc majors and people who took more than 2 years (like me) to get out of CC.

I’m not sayin’ to not dish it out on the guy, but could you please not catch the rest of us sane, intelligent folks in the crossfire? It makes me feel really unclean to be compared to the OP in even the most tangental way. Like Christian Weston Chandler -shudder-.

Cbf to read past the first page of this thread, but I noticed something in the first post:

So you received multiple grades that you believed to be lower than you deserved, yet you never made any attempt to speak with your professor to clarify what those errors were. It seems as though it was entirely in your power to get that A and you were just lazy.

i guess im late to the party (finals…) but if the OP really “earned” an A, it wouldnt have mattered if he lost a few points here and there, he’d still have enough for an A. what really happened though is he earned an A-, and he had a chance of lucking out and getting an A, but since he didn’t hes now complaining that it was his divine right to get an A… lol :)

Why is this thread still going? Can this thread please die?

Of course not!
