Current Northwestern students...HELP!

I will (I hope) be transferring into Northwestern this Fall. Unfortunately, I just received my financial aid packet and got ZERO, nada, nothing...ZIP! (Only loans...) The financial aid officer told me that my family can appeal this decision by supplementing the financial aid office w/ additional forms such as medical expenses, business tax forms, other w-2's, private high school bills, etc. My question to you all is, how often does an appeal work? I have busted my ass soo hard to get into this school (which has been my dream school since 8th grade), and now it appears that everything will be taken away from me. I seriously, seriously don't want this to happen! Aside from any aid, I'll be completing as many outside scholarships as possible...and will definitely take up work-study to make 2,000 a year. If anyone has ever faced this situation, please tell me the best way to get money...because my family can't afford this education! And oh yeah...please freakin' pray that some sort of money comes through.
