<p>When do applicants receive an email with the information for activating and setting up their account? Is an email supposed to be sent out instantly after an applicant sends in their application? Is it only sent out after the Nov. 1st deadline? Or is it something completely different?</p>
<p>The day after I submitted my application, I received an email from Duke that had instructions for setting up the Applicant ID account. I got another email today letting me know that they received my application. </p>
<p>It’s been about a day or so and still nothing… I suppose I’ll just have to wait a bit longer then. Thanks!</p>
<p>I submitted my app through CommonApp yesterday. What will happen next? How long will it take to get an email? Just like to confirm I did submit. It says “complete” on the CommonApp. </p>
<p>You did submit it. Keep in mind, I’m sure thousands of other students submitted their apps yesterday as well. But you should get an email at some point, just be patient. :)</p>

<p>It took about two days for me, and I submitted mine on Tuesday.</p>
