I just got some email saying that my UT application has been started but not submitted yet. It says that you have to complete "through page 8" and submit it to be considered for scholarship priority. However, we just had a long discussion a few threads ago about how you only have to complete to page 3 to submit your scholarship app. Is that to submit it or just to access it? If so, I'm pretty much really screwed because the deadline is 3 days away and I haven't gotten my letter of recommendation or transcript or anything.

"Our records indicate that you have started a UT-Austin Freshman Scholarship Application for the 2007-2008 year; however, as of yesterday you have not completed and submitted this application. Your application must be completed through page 8 AND submitted via one final step. The UT-Austin Freshman Scholarship deadline is December 1, 2006. Your application must be received by this deadline in order to receive priority consideration for scholarships."

This was the email I got from the UT-Financial Aid office.

Yeah they're talking about the scholarship application.
I got the same e-mail.
Read it again.
It doesn't mention the regular application anywhere.

"you have not completed and submitted this application"

Does anybody else find that they don't qualify for very many scholarships?

I am kind of looking for one that's like "OK, you can apply for this scholarship if you attend (my high school), if you sit in the 4th row of your 8th period calculus class, if you have size 8 feet, if you were born in the summer, if you like the color turquoise, and if you watch Grey's Anatomy."

OK, maybe not that excessive in the requirements...but still. Middle school specific scholarships? What is THAT all about?
