Hi all,
does anyone know if The D is regularly updated? All my credentials should be in (another college said so) but The D shows that none have been received by Admissions! Do they only update it after the application deadline? Some of my credentials (teacher rec) were in very early, as early as october/november. Anyone experienced the same thing? Also, I haven't received my access code--a cause for concern? Thanks!

I don't know how up-to-date the D is either. Are you sure you were logged in? Because I went to the site and freaked out when it said they head none of my paperwork.

I checked and logged in, and it said that my teacher recs and transcript still aren't in. The only part I'm worried about is my transcript because I submitted my request for my transcript in November and it was sent out mid-December.

yeah, it happened with me... don't knowhow this works out

I'm not sure how it works either. Then again I have all of my stuff. Then again I sent it all in in Sept. See how ready I am to go to the Uni...

It is updated every 3 days.

that's strange. they have all of my stuff apparantly, and i sent it end of december.

you might not have typed in your access code. if you don't put that in, there's a 'default' checklist that appears, sort of like a model. if you've tried that already and nothing shows up, then i'd give it a few more weeks.

Right, if you click onto the other tab, it says not to contact the office until after Feb 2nd if your materials still haven't shown up.

what is this access code everyone is talking about?
I've never recieved any info from Duke regarding an access code. They have sent me confirmation letters about the application but I just noticed it is never addressed to my name.
I just set up an account on 'the D' and everything for my application is 'due soon'.
I even had a phone interview just 2 weeks ago, but now i'm getting kind of freaked out they are missing huge chunks of my app.

per Duke FAQ:

"After you have made sure that any missing parts of your application have been sent to us -- and you have allowed enough time for us to receive and file them -- you can call our office to make sure we have received the information. Beginning November 15 for Early Decision applicants and February 2 for Regular Decision applicants, you can call our office at 919/684-3214 between 3:00 and 5:00 Eastern time Monday through Friday."

This is the course of action I would pursue. If they never mailed you an access code, you should also address this concern to admissions, I'd imagine.
