Application closed--does that mean I have to register again on August 1st?

<p>So I started filling out my ECs and uploading essay drafts to commonapp a few weeks ago, and now that the 2009-2010 application is closed, I can't log in. The support page just says that support via telephone isn't available and to look at the pre-answered questions. When the commonapp launches for 2010-2011, will all my stuff still be there? Or will my account be gone and I'll have to start over?</p>

<p>I filled it out just to get the feel for it. But all old applications get deleted, and you have to start again on August 1st.</p>

<p>It clearly stated that the application for 2010-2011 would be out August 1, 2010. What you have filled out is for 2009-2010, and the system is erased every summer.</p>

<p>I hope you have back ups of all your essays. Also, let’s hope the topics will be the same this year! (don’t worry, they usually are)</p>
