Application Deadline Dec. 1st question

<p>I didn't realize until a couple of days ago that, in order to be considered for merit scholarships, applications needed to be turned in by Dec. 1st. As of such, all of my recommenders are under the impression that their letters need to be done by Dec. 20th. Can I just submit my Common App and Writing Supplement without any recommendations or the Secondary School Report? Will the Common App let me do that? If so, would the recommendations still count when they're submitted after the application submittal?</p>

<p>Common App will allow you to submit your application without recommendation or school report. However, whether your application is deemed to meet the deadline of 12/01 is up to CMC. I would suggest you contact them directly.</p>

<p>You can submit common app by deadline and supplemental docs later according to the email I received from admissions. If you do that you are still eligible for merit scholarships.</p>
