Hi everyone. December 1st is the merit scholarship deadline for Claremont McKenna and USC. Is it okay if I send my completed common app by December 1st but my recommenders have no all submitted their letters yet? The actual non-merit scholarship deadline is January 1st or around that I believe. I just want to make sure that I get consideration for a merit scholarship. Thanks.
I know it’s past the deadline already, just wanted to reassure you I talked with USC about a similar issue and they told me the only components of your application they MUST have by dec 1 for merit consideration is the common app info and essay, and the USC supplement. Counselor and teachers recs can be added later with no penalty to you
