Application Deadlines

What are the application deadlines(2014) for Stanford, MIT, Caltech and Cornell? Please help me. And when would be the best time to take SATs for the listed universities?

If you are intelligent enough to apply to those schools, you are intelligent enough to navigate their websites…

If you go to Stanford’s for example, it states the deadline is January 1.

Sorry, but I am relatively new. I’ll be giving my 12th boards in March and the deadline is Jan 1.

Majority of colleges have a deadline in early Jan, very often Jan 1 or 2, although there are also colleges like the UCs and Texas where you have already blown any deadline if you have not yet applied. MIT and Stanford are Jan 1, Caltech Jan 3, and Cornell Jan 9. Nevertheless it is not just advised that you go to each college’s site to which you intend to apply to determine dates, it is absoluterly imperative that you do so.You need to know not just the deadline date but dates for anything else and what is due on any given date. For example, you have already blown MIT’s last date, Dec 10, by which you could request an interview. Interviews for MIT are not absolutely required but are “strongly recommended.” In essence, starting immediately, you need to put aside any excuse for not going to the colleges’ sites to determine everything that is needed and by when.

And, unfortunately, the best time to take the SAT is long past.

The next test date is Jan. 25, but the results of those tests won’t be available in time to be considered with applications for Fall 2014 admission at some American colleges and universities.

March is definitely too late. Those universities will be notifying students of their decisions by March.
